Filmit CMS is the cutting edge content management system and processing environment for members of the film industry who are dealing with performers and locations.
Designed to deliver an all-in-one image processor, in-house database solution, content entry system, networking environment, data communication tool, video clip storage, research engine, and presentation package, Filmit CMS includes the following functionality:
- Increase the accuracy and speed of creating presentations, compiling them with ease from any image source (your digital camera, your file system, e-mail attachment, online casting portfolio, photo scan, etc.), and re-using details from prior jobs by means of the automatically built-up internal database.
- Whether it is an appealing hard-copy print-out, a Microsoft® Word document for hassle-free e-mailing, a Filmit document for other Filmit CMS users, a menu-driven Video-DVD, or a microsite (more…) consistent with your CI and in line with the rest of your web site: Filmit CMS has the presentation solution that is most advantageous for you and your client.
- Communicate cast and location lists to other Filmit CMS users via the Filmit document type, allowing content to be shared, modified and short-listed seamlessly between you and your clients.
- Each new job adds all images, clips, and details to your automatically built-up in-house database, for easy referral at a later date, searches, image collections, and rapid list compilation from the archive.
- Use Filmit CMS to manage, communicate, and present your casting footage. Filmit CMS helps you to keep track of each performer's video even after it is archived to external storage, and produces Video-DVD directly from your castlist.
- You will have all job related address and contact details at your fingertips with the inbuilt Filmit address book, fully integrated with your preferred e-mail program (Microsoft Outlook® or Lotus Notes®).
Filmit CMS is built on the Microsoft® .NET Framework to meet the highest standards in security, robustness and performance. The .NET Framework is an integral Windows component for building and running the next generation of software applications and Web services.
Filmit CMS uses the Microsoft® SQL Server™ technology for database management, and Windows Media® technology for video rendering. Filmit CMS runs on the Windows XP® SP2, Windows Server® 2003, Windows Vista™, and Windows® 7 operating systems.
